Account Questions
We currently accept tax-exempt businesses and non-profit organizations, such as mom-and-pop shops, retail chains, distributors, eCommerce stores, and more. We require your tax -exempt ID when you register for a new account, so have it handy before you apply.

Melville Candy does not currently have an Authorized Reseller Program or specific restrictions around reselling our treats on Marketplaces. This may change in the future. In the meantime, below is some guidance:
- We cannot ship to Amazon directly on your behalf to be shipped via FBA.
- We do not currently have a MAP policy.
- We do not provide any assistance in ungating your account for our categories.
- We do not provide authorized seller letters, letters to state our products do not melt, or any other custom letter requested by Amazon or other Marketplaces.
- We do not accept product returns for buyers remorse or if you cannot sell through the product you purchase.
Yes, we do offer payment terms as a payment option. Please note that with credit card, our order minimum is $150, whereas if you're paying on terms, the order minimum is $500 and the annual expected spend is $5,000. If you're unable to meet those threshold, we recommend sticking with credit card as a form of payment.

We will then confirm your status internally and approve your account for terms on our wholesale website.

Ordering Questions
Yes, wholesale accounts have the following order minimums (prior to tax and shipping):
- Standard minimum: $150
- Orders placed on Payment Terms: $500
- Distributor Accounts: $5,000
Note that orders over $500 qualify for free small parcel shipping.
We are no longer able to offer custom orders for standard Wholesale customers.
If you have ordered custom products in the past and would like assistance in picking items, please reach out to customer service.
Yes, we allow orders to be placed in advance of production and actually highly recommend it to ensure your order is fulfilled for when you need it. Starting in the fall, our busy season can push production times to as far as six weeks. After late January, our production schedule returns to normal after the Valentine's Day rush.
In order to pick your pre-order shipping date, use the calendar on the checkout page to pick the week you'd like your item to ship.
Note that we do our best to accomodate your shipping week, we may ship items up to two weeks early.
All our candy is made-to-order, meaning that we don't make it until you order it, so there is no existing inventory we can pull from to ship your order right away. Typically our production time is roughly 15 days from order to shipment, then add on 1-5 days for delivery. You can choose an expedited shipping method when you checkout, but note that it does not mean your production will be rushed - just that it will arrive faster once it's done being made.
If you have a time-sensitive order, we recommend ordering well in advance as we do not have the ability to place any rush orders.
Yes! All orders are shipped with UPC stickers and a "Best By" date.
Product Questions
To extend the shelf life of your candy and treats, we recommend keeping them stored below 75 degrees and less than 50% humidity. In these proper storage conditions, hard candy lollipops are best consumed within 9 months; chocolate, marshmallow, and rice treats within 7 months from purchase.

Shipping & Returns
Yes, we offer free small parcel shipping automatically when your order is above $500.
Distributors have a larger order minimum and ship via Freight (LTL) and thus no free shipping is available for Distributor accounts.
While we do not accept product returns, we will gladly work with you to solve any order issues you have. Please email info-ws@melvillecandywholesale.com and have your PO# ready.
Items that are broken, extremely melted, or defective due to manufacturing error, and mis-ships will qualify for a refund or replacement claim.
Claims must be submitted within 15 calendar days from the delivery date. For items that the carrier marks as lost or damaged in transit or return to sender, claims must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the order date.
We do not accept buyer's remorse claims, or if you are unable to sell through product.
